Sebastian ★★★★★

The latches snap shut with a really satisfying click, and I've had one of these strapped to my roof rack for two camping trips now — zero water inside. Eight gallons is the sweet spot for a tent, sleeping bag, and a small stove.

Stashed four of these in the garage for camping gear and they stack neatly without wobbling. The lockable lid is handy for keeping tools out of the kids' reach, though I wish the 8-gallon size came a touch bigger for sleeping bags.
