The clear sides are the best part — I can see exactly which bin has the batteries without pulling all eight off the shelf. Each one holds a surprising amount for something only 4.63 inches tall, and the lids snap on tight enough that nothing shifts when I stack them.
I measured before buying and the outside is 12.88" long, but the inside is only 11", so plan accordingly if you're storing something rigid. That said, eight of these fit perfectly on my pantry shelves and the lids snap on tight enough that nothing spills when I stack them.
The clear sides make it so easy to see what's in each bin without pulling them all off the shelf. The 11 x 7 inch inside space fits a surprising amount, and the lids actually snap on tight instead of just resting there. My craft closet has never stayed this organized.
